I believe we should eat food that’s locally sourced as mush as possible … which means I try to eat at locally-owned restaurants as much as possible BUT while I’m not a huge fan of chain restaurants, the people who work there are locals so every now and then supporting them by eating there is a good thing too. And there’s some damn good places here in the greater Indianapolis area. Don’t believe me … read what Condé Nast (May 2018) had to say about Indy and why it’s one of the most underrated food cities in the world.
As for me, some of my favorite spots in the Circle City happen to be the BEST spots for seafood in the city—and they’re all highlighted here on Seafood in the Circle City. No, I haven’t been everywhere yet, truth be known, there’s still nearly 50 places I have yet to add to this guide … but soon enough.
Want to know more about me and what I do? Head over to Seafood is the New Black where I write about all things related to the sea. You’ll discover some killer recipes for cooking seafood at home, learn about sustainable seafood practices, and read about some of the hottest places to hang with mermaids 😉 Hey, some are even in landlocked states … you just never know!

DISCLAIMER: I’m a writer and an editor. And I try my best to make sure every post is articulate and free from errors. However, being that I edit my own work—and it’s next to impossible to properly edit your own work—I admit, occasionally there may be an error or two I miss. But doing so doesn’t make me an idiot so don’t be mean. Just smile, pat yourself on the back for finding an error and be glad you’re not the only one who makes mistakes sometimes … yes, even mermaids slip up every now and then. xoxox
